At Big Elm we strive to be the facility of choice for seniors in Cabarrus, Rowan & surrounding counties. We offer a full continuum of care, from rehabilitation and skilled nursing care, to assisted living services allowing residents a smooth transition as care needs arise.
We have 50 certified Skilled Nursing Facility beds. Our Nursing Center offers 24 hour care, and contains a 20 bed rehabilitation unit and 30 bed long term care unit.
Big Elm is unique in that we offer a full continuum of care, which includes 80 Assisted Living beds offering 24 hour nursing supervision and assistance with ADLs.
Our caring and professional staff provide 24 hour care for residents in a safe environment, offering skilled long term care as well as Hospice care for those in need of extensive nursing services. We are a family-owned facility where you will actually be able to see and talk with the owner of the facility. We also have the smallest skilled nursing facility in the area that allows us to closely monitor our residents with good staffing ratios and shorter hallways, that makes for a safe and quaint enviroment. Our therapy department allows for many of our residents to go back home after a short stay.
